Iain is the Principal of Caledonia Planning Group.  He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Caledonia’s sales, marketing, product development, and consulting operations.

Prior to establishing Caledonia, Iain held senior product development, distribution, administrative, and underwriting roles at two major international insurance companies.  Iain also held a senior role at a major US life insurance sales and distribution organization, responsible for establishing carrier relationships and the development of proprietary insurance products.  Iain also served as Managing Director of WorldInsure, a technology company that automated life insurance underwriting, sales, and distribution.

Iain’s 30+ years of experience and knowledge in domestic and international insurance markets allows him to effectively guide corporate and personal clients through the process of selecting, structuring, and purchasing cost effective domestic or PPLI solutions.

Iain holds a Master of Labour Relations from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.  Iain also obtained his American CLU designation in 1995 and holds memberships in CALU and AALU.
